Well, Halloween and November are dawning upon us ever quickly. It’s nigh about time I got to getting the info out for my 9th Annual Birthday Bash. Please see the details below as well as a “wish list” behind the cut.

Saturday November 7, 2009
6:00pm-Sunday Morning
Location: My House

As always costumes are optional but encouraged
All food and drink will be provided. All you need bring is yourself!
Bringing guests is okay as long as you let me know ahead of time

As always, I’d like to stress that I do not expect to receive any gifts, but you all always ask for a wish list anyway, so here it is:

-The first thing I want this year is a #25 away (white) Penguins jersey that says “SUPERSTAR” instead of TALBOT. I’ve already asked everyone I know for this so I’d ask around if you were thinking of shelling out the loads of money it would take to buy this.

-Blue Jeans, khakis or dress slacks. Size 34x34, loose fit

-Button down or polo shirts that would fall under the heading “Business casual”. I don’t know my neck size so… average I guess?

-Wii games. I already own Wii Sports, Wii Play, Twilight Princess, Okami, Raging Rabbits 2, and Mario Galaxy. Anything else would be fine!

-Nintendo DS Games. I own Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass, Final Fantasy III, Chrono Trigger, Brain Games, and Nintendogs.

-Baking Supplies. I especially need a large mixing bowl and some good knives for cutting vegetables and fruit. A shop-chop wouldn’t be bad either!

-I’d like to stress that I do NOT need any more T-shirts. My shirt drawer is overflowing already!

-I would, however, like a 2009 Stanley Cup Champs ball cap

-An electric beard and mustache trimmer

-Books. I can’t think of anything in particular that I would like right now. I’ve heard some good things about the Wheel of Time series and I don’t have any of those yet. I also like books about medieval/European history. The barbarian tribes fascinate me!

-Movies. Again, can’t think of anything in particular that I want right now. You all know what I like! You can check with Shelly to see if we already own.

-CD's:
-Any Electric Six album (I already have Fire)
-Anything by Sleepytime Gorilla Museum
-"California" and "Disco Volante" by Mr. Bungle
-"Album of the Year" by Faith No More
-"Deth Album 2" by Dethklok

I don't know a whole lot about it yet except: It's a cancer research benefit dealio, it's outdoors (in late October, I know!), and we're going on at 1pm. So I just found out I have an interview for a promotion tomorrow morning. I am here late tonight and this won't leave me any time to get my hair cut. I seriously hope that doesn't hurt my chances. I kinda wanted to have long hair still for the trip to Ren Fest on Sunday anyways.

Speaking of, Shells and I are going to Ren Fest this Sunday to celebrate Oktoberfest. Anyone looking to come along is welcome to do so. I'm so happy it's October now! I love everything about this month, but most especially the start of the NHL season. This Friday we hang that banner at the Mellon. WOO!

I'm usually a decaf guy. But for some reason I had trouble sleeping this night, so I was feeling particularly drowsy today at work. One of my bosses, Walter, offered me a drink. It was his own special blend. Basically a cup of regular coffee with a chai tea bag and a couple creamers. I usually drink no caffeine and this has triple the caffeine of a regular cup of tea.

MY EYELIDS WON'T CLOSE! I CAN SEE JESUS' EYES! AAAAAH!!!!

I'm not looking forward to the crash from this later on. And the last think I want to do right now is answer emails.

Premier show in 1 week

Hey everyone. Just wanted to remind everyone reading this in the Pittsburgh area, that my band Too Stupid to Die has our first live show in exactly one week's time. It'll be at the VFW in South Side, which is adjacent to the Giant Eagle down there. Show begins at 9:30pm, there is a $5 cover and there will be plenty of drink specials.

I'd really love it if I could get a TON of people there for our first show. We promise to have a little something for everyone, and even if the music doesn't grab you, you'll be entertained by our stage antics. Seriously, I have no idea what Albert is planning on doing. So, hope to see most of ya there!

For all those in the Pittsburgh area: The band that me and my close friend Albert have been working on, Too Stupid to Die, is playing our first show on Friday July, 10 at the VFW in South Side. Albert tells me it is right next to the South Side Giant Eagle. Cover is $5 and there will be some really cheap drink specials. I believe the show starts at 9:30.

I would really appreciate as much support as I can get from everyone as it has been a REALLY long time since I've played live at all. I'm not sure what the other bands are like, but I can give you a quick description of our sound. We're pretty much right in the middle of Faith No More and Mr. Bungle. At the very least, I promise you an entertaining stage show. Hope you can make it out!
